The drought is so bad that the joke around here is that we have more beaches than Florida. So, summer break is almost over, and the boys didn't get a real vacation to a beach this year. So, I took it upon myself to find one. After all, we have more beaches than Florida.
So the other day we explored Silver Creek Lake just 20 minutes from our home. The boys were so happy to finally get to play in the sand, explore, and pick shells from the dried up lake bottom.
It was a perfect day!
